Terms of Use
These are the terms for using WhiteScreen.download. Using the site means agreeing to them.
The tools are free to use
No account, sign up or payment is required for any screen, test or download on this site. There is no guarantee the site will always be available, and features may change or be removed over time.
The prank and simulated OS screens are visual only
The prank, fake and operating system style screens on this site are simulations for harmless entertainment. None of them installs software, changes a device setting, or interacts with your operating system in any way , they are images and animations rendered by your browser, and closing the page or pressing Esc ends them completely. Do not present them to someone as a real system event without their knowledge in a way intended to cause genuine distress or to deceive them into taking an action they would not otherwise take, such as calling a fake support number.
Display tests are informational, not a diagnosis
The colour screens can help you notice a dead pixel, a stuck pixel, backlight bleed or uneven tint. They are a starting point for looking at your own screen, not a certified diagnostic tool, and they cannot determine the cause of a fault or whether it is covered under warranty. Decisions about repairing, returning or replacing hardware should be based on the manufacturer’s or retailer’s own process.
Downloaded images
Image files generated by the download tool are plain solid color files with no added watermark , use them as a background, a reference or a placeholder as you see fit.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to scrape, republish or redistribute the site’s written content, or attempt to disrupt the site’s normal operation (for example through excessive automated requests). Reasonable personal, non commercial use of the tools themselves is exactly what they are for.
No warranty
The site and its tools are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, including as to accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, WhiteScreen.download is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the site.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time as the site changes; the current version on this page is the one that applies. Questions can go through the Contact page.
